This has been the week of "lessons learned the hard way." I am encouraged by your words today, and I am determined to practice contentment.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09996647895551351662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3647280377585830183.post-43634525936622434092013-03-07T08:44:23.544-05:002013-03-07T08:44:23.544-05:00Thank you Jennifer, Carol and Debbie! May...Contentment is a decision, not a destination. May I share that with my fb friends? If I do, I can promise that it will travel far.

Your wisdom is only learned in the caldron of trial - and learned is the correct word. Funny how we have to "learn" so much. When we look at others who have these attributes that we know we should have, we know not what they had to endure to learn them - and we want to get them through osmosis. We would surely shortchange ourselves if that were possible. And then, we want to pass on our wisdom so that others will not have to go through what we did, so that the ones we love and care about will not have to suffer. Perhaps we can teach them some things but much of what they must learn will have to be learned the hard way. What we must do is learn to pray and trust the Lord to keep them. Just to keep them.

Thank you for making me think this early morning. You have been a blessing to me today.

Love,
Carol LoveAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3647280377585830183.post-48550330572049549592013-03-07T01:10:18.324-05:002013-03-07T01:10:18.324-05:00Oh Sue I absolutely love reading your blog!
